    Bachelor of Arts

    The Bachelor program follows a three-pillar approach focusing on global trends, business strategy, and operational leadership. The first two years share the same modules, with the third year varying depending on your chosen pathway: Hospitality, Hospitality Events, or Design.

    Students on all pathways have the opportunity to share certain classes, work on group projects, and organize VIP banquets together. The three-year curriculum is awarded a Bachelor’s degree accredited by the University of Derby, UK.

    Eligibility

    • Completed secondary school education (IB Diploma, IBCP Diploma**, Maturité, Abitur, French Bac, 2 A-levels, high school diploma or equivalent)
    • English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 55 or equivalent
    • Recommended minimum age of 18 years*

    Postgraduate Diploma in International Hotel Operations Management or Postgraduate Diploma in International Hotel & Events Management

    The Postgraduate Diploma corresponds to the first year of the Master of International Business in Hotel and Resort Management program. Students entering the Postgraduate Programme typically hold an undergraduate degree in studies unrelated to the field of hospitality and wish to change their career path, drawn by the exciting career opportunities that the global hospitality industry has to offer. This course also acts as a pathway into the MIB in Hotel and Resort Management or the MSc in International Hospitality Management.

    • Bachelor degree in any discipline or at least 3 years of work experience in any industry
    • English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 55 or equivalent

    Master of Arts in International Hotel Business Management

    The Master of Arts (awarded by University of Derby, UK) is an intensive program delivered over two nine-week terms before students embark on a mandatory work placement and consultancy project.

    Based at our Caux campus, learn the theory, and apply your newly-acquired knowledge and skills in managing the ever-growing business of hotel operations.

    • Recognized Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:2) in any discipline*
    • English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 67-74 or equivalent
    • Recommended minimum age of 21 years

    Master of Science with pathways in International Hospitality Management/Digital Value Creation/Hospitality and Design Management

    The Master of Science in International Hospitality Management, awarded in partnership with the University of Derby, covers Operational Leadership, Contemporary Business Thinking, Business Strategy, and Managerial Decision Making.

    The independent business project/dissertation module provides students with the opportunity to research, analyze, and produce a major piece of work on a subject of their choice.

    Eligibility

    • Bachelor’s Degree with honors (minimum 2:2) in Hospitality Management / Events Management or in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years of work experience at managerial/supervisory level in the industry
    • English language proficiency of TOEFL iBT 67-74 or IELTS 6.0 or equivalent*
    • Mature applicants with over 3-5 years supervisory/managerial work experience, may be considered without higher education qualifications

    This module enables students to consolidate the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during term one of the diploma programme in a real-life working environment. It provides students with the opportunity to observe and appraise the interrelationship of theory and practice within a working environment preferably related to food and beverage.

    Worldwide internship (local conditions apply) or paid in Switzerland (6 months) Minimum monthly gross salary in Switzerland: CHF 2,212.

      Campus Life

      Discover this unforgettable campus, set high up above Montreux, with unparalleled views and ideal hospitality facilities to perfect your skills. As a historic building, the Caux Palace offers an inspiring environment in which to study, steeped in the heritage of Swiss hospitality traditions. This unique campus offers modern facilities and is equipped with the latest technology to aid students in their studies. Caux is located in the french-speaking area of Switzerland and is an hour and twenty minutes from Geneva airport, easily accessible by car or train.

      Meals

      Full board is provided throughout the week and is included in the fees. Three meals are served from Monday to Friday with brunch and dinner on weekends. Students have the choice of eating in any of the food outlets on campus:

      Accommodation

      All accommodation is designed to offer students the comfort and privacy needed for study or to simply relax. Bedrooms are spacious, modern and comfortable; all are non-smoking. Accommodation is located in the main campus building and also in external buildings, all within walking distance.

      Discover our Leysin Campus comprises two beautiful venues connected by a sky train. Plus, there’s also a spa, steam room, sauna and multiple restaurants. Positioned in a well-known ski resort, Leysin offers students a wide range of recreational and sporting activities in a setting surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. Located in the French-speaking area of Switzerland, Leysin is easily accessible by train from Geneva and Zurich airport.

      The Leysin campus offers a range of different room categories right in the heart of the mountain resort. All accommodation is modern, comfortable and spacious to enable students to feel at home.

      As of September 2020, our Master of Arts students will reside in this campus. Enjoy the best of both worlds, studying some classes at Caux Palace and having other classes plus accommodation in a vibrant city centre.
